Australia's Neighbours
To support the Geography unit 'Australia's Neighbours', students in 3/4 Orange and 4/5 Green have been learning about New Zealand during their time in the library. This week they learned that NZ has two main islands and is home to a number of endemic species of animals (parents might like to ask their children what endemic means). Please enjoy admiring a small sample of student artworks depicting Maori Ta Moko face markings. If you look carefully, you might recognise some of the faces beneath.
